Glide coupled with Cutoff
 

Hi

I want to couple Portamento with Filter1 Cutoff possibly as one way dependancy (Portamento -> Cutoff). I thought it would be possible using Matrix, set source to Portamento Sw (what is this Sw??), amount to +63, Dest to Filter1 Cutoff.
But changing Portamento doesn't result in cutoff change.

Is there a way to do that other than record automation of one of them and copy to the oher's lane?

I use hardware mode.


Another thing: what is Data entry (also in Matrix)?

portamento time is not a modulation source so there for it cant modulate the cutoff.
what you can do is set modwheel to porta time on one slot and on the other slot set mod wheel to cutoff ,then when you turn up the cutoff both porta time is extended and also filter cutoff "opens".
