OS versions
what OS versions are you guys using out there with more success? bugs vary?
|
I have had notes hung a couple of times, but that is it, for me.
|
Ive been testing 1.0.9 and its quit more buggy then 1.0.7 which runs more stable. 1.0.7 doesnt make my leds flicker or make notes hang.

now are the majority of you guys using 1.0.9 cuz its more stable for your setup/virus or just because its a new OS access released? I just reverted back to 1.0.7 to compare once again.
this thread is to compare notes and if no one reports what OS and or bugs about current TIOS/setup its useless. we know notes hang so im assuming thats a 1.0.9 bug unless stated otherwise. even the smallest bugs like intermitent LEDS blinking should be reported. we can sit here and bitch bout the updates and wait for 1.1 or figure out what OS works better for your situation. so far 1.0.7 is ideal for my setup and TI. |
a vote for 1.09 here.
I have the TI polar, on 1.09. i rarely have issues, no stuck/hanging notes, no sync loss etc. |
I had notes stuck in previous versions too. Version 1.09 works for me, but I also do not use the Integration part of the TI.

I'm on 1.09 and find it quite stable. I don't have problems with stuck notes.
I do have 1 irritating problem. When I play a trill (I think thats what its called - many notes played very fast in quick patterns) I find that after playing about the 8th or 9th note of the trill the note doesn't sound at all. I find it easier to recreate this in the top 2 octaves. At first I was going to put it down to polyphony but that doesn't make sense as if it was polyphony surely one of the first notes to be played would stop instead of the latest note not playing. Does anyone else experience this? Perhaps this is what is meant by stuck notes? Drammy |
Access are betatesting their OS (1.09 was finished march 27 and got released march 30). Further, I don't think they would release a suftwareupdate which is buggier than the previous one.
IMHO, swiching back to older OS is just silly |
