new wave on each key press

Hello!

Im trying to make an effect that im using on my monomachine synth which I do this way:

I select a wavetable osc, and select the wave ecsactly in the middle. I set the lfo to trigger mode, and the shape to random. This way, each time you hit a key, a new wave will sound and hold, until next time you press a key. (This is very cool!)

Can this effect be applied to the Ti? Im not shure how to set the lfo to work like this. Maybe by using its envelope mode as trigger? But where is the random waveform?

Sample and hold, and S&D, but whats that?

On my Indigo v1 there is a Sample+Hold (and also a Sample+Glide) LFO shape. Use key-triggering for the LFO.

There is also a Source called "Random" for use within the modulation matrix.

Hmm, I havent seen the key-triggering funcktion.

Not shure how to do this in the matrix. You can set lfo to the source random, but then again how do you set random to the waves?

thanks for the reply :)

there is the Phase Init that sets the starting point in the waveform cycle, but i don't know if you can modulate it, i am pretty sure you can't :s
