TI Polar Vintage Synth Demo
Just for fun, I composed/recorded a brief composition using ONLY a TI Polar synth. This is simply a stereo recording of a Polar in sequencer mode, with no other effects used (except a touch of Masterworks limiter in Digital Performer). I used the stereo analog outs of the Polar, running through a Mackie 1202 mixer, into an M-Audio USB Duo interface, and then into my iMac. Exported as a 128-bit MP3.
There are quite a few examples of what the TI can do with dance/trance music, obviously, so I figured I'd try something rather different, going back to my prog-rock/pop roots. Enjoy! http://homepage.mac.com/mwalthius/PolarDemo1.mp3 |
while not my style of music, you did a great job demoing the flexability of the TI, as well as sounding quite moogy!!!! Nice job! 8)
were the drums done on the TI as well? |

That isn't my "current" style of music either, but I thought I'd have some fun with the moogy and FM sounds. But perhaps my age is showing a bit too. :) |

The sounds remind me alitte of a Rock band some of you old gitts might know called "Rush" (Exit stage left)

excelent work there! realy shows the analog quality of the virus.
nice hammond emulation aswell. |
Some cool leads and that Organ sound at the was great!
Always nice to hear a Virus playing something other than a detuned saw. |
Excellent demo for sure. You should send this to Access, I bet that they'd would love to hear something else than detuned saw-pads/arpeggios.
It sounds like a 80ies 'action movie - love scene demo'. |
First half sounds like porno music, heheheh!
Nice demo ;-) |
Excellent demo! Midway point reminded me of Jackson Browne's - She's going to be somebodys baby!
Quite excellent and versatile. |
