Well I was thinking of getting a Virus Polar T1

Not so sure now after reading some of these posts

May go to the Nord G2 or Radius

Unless some of you can convince me to take the plunge

want to use it with Intel Imac and logic pro 7.2, will plug it into an Appogee Ensemble when it turns up

Though could edit it on a PC laptop or PC

Thougts please, if not an alternative?

i belive these bugs will be solved soon,
i would suggest geting a different synth meanwhile (2nd hand maybe?) and just sell it on a later point to get the POLAR or TI. by then it will have a rock solid software and most if not all of the sequencer-TI related issues will be solved.

i would give it few months.

The past thought us a different story, and so will the future... why do u think access released an incomplete product, should have released OS1.1 two monts ago already and it's still not released? The TI's half a year on the market, have you experienced any significant improvements?

I did the mistake going for the TI but sent it back, now I'm considering seriously buying a Radias with the money instead of waiting for a fixed TI which probably is just plain impossible due to the nature of USB1...

I have a radias and TI. Just know that the radias is definitely a "clean" sound. You are not going to get the dark overtones out of the radias unless you sample somestuff through the formant modelling. I think they actually make a great pair.

Personally I would say wait for OS1.1 reviews before making a purchase :)

Unless you dont plan to use it with the VST interface.

I went this route and purchased a used virus c on e-bay for a decent price.
I can't wait for the TI to stabalize, as it is a wondeful sounding piece of gear! The virus C sounds great too (considering how many hit tracks it has been a part of).......

Bummer about the TI/USB
:(

thanks for tip, but i really need a keyboard :(

Personally if I was about to buy a synth I'd wait for 1.1 to come out, which looks not to be far away now, and assuming the reports back regarding it are good then I'd get it.

At the very least I'd wait....

But having said that, I would like own a Radias.

Good luck with the choice! :D
