The summer is here.

Yay!

Well, it's not quite there yet but we're getting there really fast.. It has been a long and really cold winter up north so I am just glad that for the third day in a row we're having +20C outside.

I'll post some pictures later, I've gotta prepare the food.. We're having BBQ third day in a row. This summer will be filled with BBQ and beer.

We'll be able to enjoy year round summers once global warming takes full effect.

Only problem is that it's overcast 99.9% of the time in the UK and dull as fuck.

Is it me, or is it considerably more overcast than it ever used to be (on average) in England? I'm sure it never used to be as bad as it has been these last few years.

Well....it's winter here, and a glorious one indeed! below 15c in the mornings and evenings, and above 20c during the day, clear blue skies, and the high powered office women are wearing skirts and knee high boots....

Yumm....

Doc Jones 05.05.2006 03:47 AM

it was 43C (109 F) here the other week. I literally was like "oh shit, what did I get myself into by moving here!!"

Would help if they're white.

You know when you've had loads of snow (many inches) but then it all starts melting and the roads and pavements are all one big, grey, sludgy wet mess. That's the same colour as the clouds/sky in England! And most often it's 100% cloud cover, so it's like some kind of perpetual nuclear winter.

I do like the seasons though. I love days like this (today), and spring. Winter lasts soooo long, when Spring finally kicks in it almost feels like it's never happened before, lol, and you're like "woah!". Amazing.
