Ti and SX midi problems
I know theres a thread about this somewhere, but I cant find it!
Using the Ti with SX 2.2.0.35 (is this version suported?) It has problems sending midi over the usb. Mostly it want work at all. We have cross tested with midiOX, and the problem is clearly with cubase alone. For now were using the fysical midi outs from the Ti. |
indeed, both sx and nuendo - all versions up to sx3.11and n3.2 corrupt TI's sysex.
AFAIK other hard synths don't have such problems. It IS some workaround to use midiOX, but with a limited usage possibilities. Two ways: -Access repair -Access don't repair and we have to learn to manage without sysex. |
Alright, thanks for the answare! :)
We might be upgrading SX then... |
not at all. stay with the sx you have unless you really want the new features.
TI works the same with v1.06 as with v3.11. |

Im looking forward to start using the Ti VST, though the wait seemes forever. I think it seems access could need some better programers! I meen theres a company that makes vst interfaces for hardware synths, like Virus C and waldorf pulse. Dont remember their name, but access should rather hire them guys to do the job! |
I don't think it is the interface that sucks - that seems to be too easy to be fucked up.
no idea what it is, though. |
I found the ti not very pleasant to use with cubase until i upgraded to 3.11..
make the upgrade, you wont be dissapointed...i like some of the new cubase 3 features also and it wont really change your workflow from cubase 2...it will still reference all your installed plugins and presets and you can even leave sx2 installed and run whichever you like (i dont ever use sx2 now though) have a nice day -Dan |
but what in particular is better in old and new sx regarding usage of ti ?
