it loads fine. If anyone wants to upload the file, just give me the email address. :) |

It's working now, Sorry about the mess. Yeah, HC it's been a long time since you asked me to put some demos on the G2, here it goes :) |
Pretty much all the sounds are from G2, except the drum loop used for stuttering, granulizing etc.
|
Hey thanks for uploading a few. I'm at home now, but I'll save the listen for when I'm at work. :D
|
Some great sounds in there, I'd love a G2 engine to go with my controller.
|
What a fantastic demo, I thought I was listening to Eat Static for the first 3 minutes.
Could you have got these sounds on your other synths or do you think it is the characteristics of the G2? It sounds like you are a good sound designer, have you any tracks to listen to? Dave. |
Thanks guys. I think the lot of the sounds have to do with the character of G2. Lot of patches in that demo has used the string osc(physical modelling. String osc is good for those guitar sounds to bass sounds to ambient soundscapes. All of the Bass, Psy sounds are created by me. Making weird noise in G2 is very simple, exspecially with the FM input. The helicopter, Doppler, rain, thunder, high tides, sea waves, crying baby sounds, grains and stutters patches are created by those sound designers from electro -music. That pad sound is the 1st Welcome present on G2. Sitar sounds and haunted sounds are presets also with mod wheel and pitchstick controls.
As far as the tracks go, I don't have anything yet. electro-music.com is a wonderful resource for G2. :) |
Finally got the time here at work to have a listen!
Great stuff! The G2 has always been something I would love to own, but I've always been affraid of them as I think little music would end up getting done - too many sound creation options! I really liked the almost bent orchestral stuff you have going there just past the half way mark. |
