Owen twisted his ankle in the first minute!

that was one of the most uncoordinated things I have have seen on a soccer field - there was no one near him!

I cant go to bed now and miss out on seeing England do damage to themselves - no pity for self inflicted wounds :lol:

Larsson is bloody great, he was one of the keyplayers for us during worldcup -94 when Sweden came in third (and you couldn't belive what parties there was in Sweden then).

WorldCup in the States, I remember being up all night to watch those games.

I used to manage club entertainment crews, doing live shows and almost pantomime-like scenes on club nights throughout the UK (it was an all-day Sunday club from about 12 noon until 3am Monday morning - after partys with the DJs and basically all the fit girls from the club, going home when everyone else was going to work etc...)

Anyway those days are long behind me - thing is; its pictures like these that remind of the scenes I was used to during those 2 years of my slightly loose cannon lifestyle.

Sheer madness, gotta love it - shame all the memories are blended into one!

Ahh well, England top of the group,
Swedes failed to capitalize on some sloppy defending from corners,
Joe Coles's was a belter,
Gerrard was COMPLETELY missed by the Swedish and knocked an easy one in.

Result - Don't have to play Germany, hopefully win against Ecuador.
