Virus TI - VirusControl VST and SPDIF in/out

hello all :)

I am a proud owner of a new virus TI, but there are some things that I'm a little unsure about... One of these is that what does the SPDIF out stand for. Can any stereo out's be routed to Spdif outs when using the Virus Control and analog outs at the same time?
