using my indigo as a controller

Can somebody please explain to me how to use my indigo 2 as a midi controller keyboard for a roland jv1080 module. If there is a thread on this maybe a link to it as I searched but couldnt find much. Thanks.

Sequencer, operating system, midi interface, audio interface....

Or maybe I've got this all wrong? Are you just trying to hook the two up without going through the computer????

In any case, some more info needed for a better answer...
