Who's following the Ryder Cup?
Any lads here golfers? This is one I never miss. Europe V Yanks at golf.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/golf/5372446.stm Not got live coverage here, but highlights from 00.10 till 02.00. Jesus. Gotta see it. Good start for Europe. Cmon boys! |
I do love playing golf, but Im really shit.
When I was living in Laos with my brother, we used to get up around 5:00am and head out for a round of golf as the sun rose. The mornings were so still and quiet, and the air was cool. We'd have the whole course to ourselves, with the only intruders being the wild goats and sheep that helped to keep the greens tidy. I also like going to the driving range and smashing a few. I could definately think of about 100 things I'd rather do than watch it on the telly though. |
You lived in Laos, Jase? Missed that one if you'd mentioned it before. Love to hear more..
June and July we crash the courses here at around midnight and play 9 holes. I can't afford a membership, and actually can't stand all that dress etiquette shite of the clubbies. Put a few beers and, er, what have you, in the bag. Good fun! Wouldn't normally watch golf on tv either, but the Ryder's really exciting mate. Very partisan crowds there and the players on both sides are well up for it. |
