SONAR 6 DEMO VIDEO
|
TGND, Do you use Sonar 6?
|
Yay! Sonar rules!
I'm still on 2.2 |
Was very tempted to switch over too it.
|
I like the fact that the foreground plugs will work automaticly with controllers, and then if you set them up they stay set without having to save templates ect. I wonder if that works with 3rd party plugs too though?
Still, I am sick of the "totaly non-destructive" comment that pops up from time to time. It gives the impression that there won't be any quality loss while stretching and bending. I think most people these days do know that it won't destroy the original source waveform..... But, I do like the fact that you can choose specific algorithms for each track though - should keep the quality right up there. All up it looks pretty nice! |
After watching that I kind of get the sense they actually thought about end users using it rather than just features being implemented (though they seem to have added alot).
I dont suppose it has VST3 support yet or anytime soon - anyone know? Looking forward to trying a demo of it if/when they release one - wonder if they will have a cross grade deal... |
I took a look at Sonar 5 - I was tempted by the 32float mixer. But overall it just felt wrong to me.
I suppose I'm too set in my ways - been using Cubase for about 18 years now. Gonna check out the Sonar 6 vid now. Drammy |
I sold my mac so I could buy a new intel mac ...I have been using logic since 5.0 and thats why I switched to mac but now I'm a bit tempted to spend all my cash on a killer pc and sonar...I'm trying sonar out now i'll consider it for sure.
macs are way over priced |
