Virus TI and Logic Pro Automation Problems
 

really hope someone can help me out on this cos im completely stuck.
I am using Logic Pro 7.2.3 and My Virus TI which I got last week. My problem is that when I try and automate tracks in Multi mode where I have different MIDI channels triggering my Virus control Instrument plugin, If I alter the automation on midi channel 2 it alters the automation on midi channel 1 - it doesent even write automation data into the second track. Its probably me being completely stupid, but if someone can tell me how I can get around this and use automation individually for each channel I would be really grateful. All the best.

So far I can see this is that strange logic bug which allows you to automate only on the first track of an multi timbral plugin.

are you sure it is not modifying a parameter with a "#2" at the end? In this case, you are automating part 2
