general questions concerning foot pedals
 

Hi there.

I am thinking of buying foot pedals for my TI. I never used one yet and havent got much knowledge about them. I have seen that there are 2 pedals that you can connect to the virus: a Hold Pedal, and a Control Pedal.

First of all, what exactly is the diference between those 2?
- Is a Hold Pedal ONLY for holding a note? So it has no steps and only can be pressed, or not pressed?. Can a Hold Pedal also controll other parameters over the Mod Matrix?
- And a Controll pedal has steps from 0 to 127 and can controll every parameter using the mod matrix?

which ones?
- Can any Pedal be used for the Virus, or only some specific?
- Which ones would you recommend?
