Greetings,
I'm pretty new to the electronic music scene. My brother introduced me to electronic music and synthesizers in general he has owned a few including the Virus Indigo roland jp8000 novation ks5 and quite a few more. I recently purchased a Virus indigo for its cost and portability to be semi-racked (dont think thats a word) but still portable enough to carry around and use as a keyboard. I have owned a few synths, my very first was a Novation nova II which I purchased to get the supernova sound. After owning it about a year I didnt find it to my liking, a thin sound and not loud. Though the synth was nice I was looking for something with more of a kick and harshness and that just doesnt come with a nova. I played around on my Brothers Virus and loved it so I decided to purchase one myself. My virus will be the heart of mysetup and my old CS2X as simply a heavy controller :P. I use various soft synths Blue,Novation V station, Novation BassStation, Oxe Fm synth, Discovery,Vanguard,z3ta+ and my production software Sonar 6 producer edition.
I'm currently anxiously awaiting my virus indigo in the mail.

I've been a fanatic about dance/trance/idm/house etc. since 1993 and loved all other music since way before that.

Got a Virus KC here and a decent little rig otherwise and am learning and having fun with it all the time.
