Waldorf vs Access namm 2007
Waldorf seems to have made a step forward as a company. Several new syns were presented in NAMM 2007 including a reissue of the Q and Q+ and a brand new synthesizer called the stromberg.
http://www.macmusic.org/news/view.php/lang/en/id/5025/ I'm curious to see how Waldorf Competes with Access this year. The heavy prices of the Waldorf synths alone deter me from perchasing one. |
Stromberg looks interesting, but seems a bit workstationy rather than synth from a hands on perpective - ie needs more knobbage.
Cool thing about it is it will effectively include all past Waldorf synths, so if you have wanted an XT and a Q+ - them a strom will give yyou both along with patch compatibility - nice :) Ive allways liked waldorf synths, but somehow never quite enough to part with readies and buy one... |

Ive been wanting to get a Waldorf synth to go with my virus.
Not sure which one, Possibly a micro Q. Anyone here own or owed a Waldorf Synth? Any advice or opinions would be great |
why don't you try terratec komplexer, which is a very good emulation of the microQ. It's worth every penny !
