Steinberg WaveLab
Anyone using Steinberg WaveLab software... 4,5,6 WaveLab Studio, or even WaveLab Essentials.
or comparable, Opinions... |
using wavelab 4 here. Love it.
I use it to surgically fine tune all of my audio (or mangle it to death). Also use it during the mastering phase. |

yeah, one of the things I use wavelab for is mastering each song. But there is so much more functionality in that program and I find that I use wavelab more for working within sound files (ie cutting things up, splicing new things together, muting sections etc.) than for mastering.

I ditched SoundForge since version 6 and moved to WaveLab. One of the things i really like about it is that as a Cubase user it has the same shortcuts, and it basically has everything i need from an audio editor, simple and intuitive to use.

Thanks guys... all sounds good. Maybe the WaveLab Studio 6 is the better bargain in the long run over the Essentials.
I guess I'll go back to reading my Ti owners manual I read a few pages and then start playing with buttons... so distracting - but I'm going cover to cover even if it takes me til tios5.0 |
