cheers dudes
ok, back now... must say that this is the most craziest mind blowingly enlightening and overal healthiest thing i've ever done. I'd recommend it to anyone. Though there is a slight snag involved.. you need to overcome your deeply rooted fear of death, if you don't then the journey will be like hell. It takes you face to face with all your fears and all the more sinful aspects of yourself and how you may treat others disrespectfully, or if you have a cruel cold heart etc... and it shows you the deep deep implications of any such less than desireable actions. This can be quite an intense part of it all. I took it 3 times.. and two out of those 3 were quite hellish, but very much necessary for the healing aspect. The 3rd time was amazingly beautiful beyond words as the first 2 trips got me past the darker aspects of my psyche. The things i saw and experienced were way out of this world, way out of this galaxy, universe whatever. And it gives you an understanding of how it all works, life that is, or nature. A trully astounding experience, one i'll never ever forget. The 2 video clips above are pretty spot on, and the second one captures the nature of many of the visionary aspects that can be experienced. but its definately an individual experience, each one different in its own way, just like each of us. http://www.heartoftheinitiate.com/ |
Wow! Sound like an amazing "Trip"
So it is basically like a full on acid/LSD trip with some aspects of E in there? |
Pint of Stella and a bag of crisps will never be the same mate.
How did you research and book your whole adventure beforehand? Sounds amazing! Tell more, please! |
theres a few places that allow the bookings, www.heartoftheinitiate.com is one of the more known sources but a quick websearch will show you more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvVL4JjxyZQ <-- this clip also shows the Shaman and his assistant which ran the ceremenoy i was involved in. 2 Very special people, very wise, very loving.
the plant/ medicine/ psychoactive named Ayahuasca has been used for thousands of years by indiginous peoples and is also known as the Vine of Souls. Many of these cultures consider it the King of all plants and treat it with upmost reverence. As well as all the visionary stuff, its very healing, physically, emotionally, spiritually. An all round medicine really and there has been some amazing stories about people being cured instantly of adverse health conditions of which they have had to bear for all or most their lifes. One guy in our group explained how when he first took it it completely cured his cronic hayfever and his failing eyesight. Its also known to cure heroin and crack addicts from the cold turkey effects of quitting the junk. I've known about the plant for ages via people like www.stuartwilde.com and www.Davidicke.com but havent had a chance to try it up til now. Glad I did, and its something i'll continue with for as long as i'm knocking about this planet. The plant is treated with utmost respect by the Shaman and peoples of knowledge and it's not advisable to be used as a party drug as its way more than that. It has its own consciousness, which some say is of the Earth itself as in planet Earth the conscious being. What i felt when i took it at first is that it was planet earth using itself to reclaim you as itself and heal you of the fuckedupidness of ego based living which we gradually grow up into within this fearful fucked up society which in itself is based primarily on survival (fear of death). http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...sca+monologues |
I don't think I'm afraid of death particularly. But when you've got kids, life takes a different dimension. You become very protective instinctively. Society, capitalism, I see them more in a Darwinian way. If one of my kids should get sick, I would want the best modern health care available. I wouldn't just say, this is nature's way, survive it, kid, or croak. I want to make as much cash as I can to ensure that I can give them security from crazy sick desperate poor people and to increase the likelihood of my genes being carried forward. It's nature's big trick. The Buddhists know that the real game plan should be to stop fucking and get off this wheel, of course.
Sounds like you've had quite an experience there mate. Good for you! |
How much?
How bad were your first two trips? What are you going to change? sounds mad, glad you enjoyed it. (i cant watch videos at work so will check them out later) |
cheers vantaa..it was a deep experience for sure.
it would be deeply individual for each of us but with underlying similarities the shit i've mentioned above is just the brief, telling all of what occured would really make some people cringe and hold tighter to their flakey beliefs which have largely been adopted from others Hi Kris Cost just over a grand but if anyone was interested they could do it far far cheeper in Amsterdam, Belgium or even in the UK though the events here are a bit hush due to the illegality. The first two trips weren't bad as such, just difficult though there was a white knuckle intensity going on until i lreaned to die. they were essential trips, no pain no gain as they say. The plant never ever gives you what you can't handle Theres lots to change.. i took a dictaphone and recorded all the insights that came to me during the week. self dicipline, ditching ego and caring more for other humans, earth and the animals... common sense stuff really but i've lived a life far from it |
