crazy problem with Virus + Carillon Pc
 

Hi all! first of all I wanna thank you guys of this forum.. it's the first time i post here but I lurked and found many tips about this fantastic synth..
I recently bought a Carillon DUO pc, which works very well and has great power.
The problems started when I bought my Virus C indigo,and cabled it with my Maudio Midisport 4x4 to the Carillon.. as soon as I touch some knobs on the synth.. Cubase ( original Sx3 version) CRASHES! I tried the virus on other pcs and it works FINE! I called Carillon assistance, but the guy told me he never heard of any problems between their pcs and the virus.. so now i don't really know what to do.I checked the O.S. and I already have the latest version,so now i'm totally LOST! have you ever had something similar with your Virus? any tips or suggestions??

It sounds to me like it has nothing to do with the Virus - I would suspect the midisport drivers.

maybe it's a midi soft thru issue...
