recording arpeggiator
 

does anyone have any step by step info on how to record/sequence the Access Virus C arpeggiator? Ive played with it but am unsure on how to record into Cubase so that the sequencer can trigger the synth arpeggiator back?

if i select the arpeggiated patch in MULTIsingle mode and record on a MIDI track in Cubase SL as normal is this all I have to do?

ensure you have send arp notes enabled, sure there is a step to guide in the support section of access web site, look in faq's if not there is a step by step for the TI in the other forum

Also be sure to turn the arp. off on the Virus after recording the notes. Otherwise you will be playing the arp. with the appegiated notes and this will result in something wierd sounding...
You can also just record one long note (or chord) in MIDI as long as you want the arp. to play. I find this easier but sometimes i´ve experienced that the arp. turns off if the note is very long or a new note is played to close to or overlapping the pevious note. Maybe something with my MIDI setup. Maybe not...
