It was time for a new avatar...

Anyhow, how's life gents?

I had a massively productive weekend:
(1) I loaded my KC with 8 totally new (to me anyway) soundbanks from the Access site and 2 that I bought from www.EasySounds.de

(2) Totally cleaned out my den/office/studio and organized the piss out of everything.

(3) Did ALL of my homework.

(4) Bought and built a desk for me new study environment.

(5) Mowed, edged, pruned, and watered the yard + planted a new bush.

(6) Took my eldest daughter roller-skating. Took both my girls to a movie (Shrek the Third). Made Mrs. Hall a nice filet mignon dinner.

(7) Got a recharge on my tan.

(8) Cleaned off my dresser and organized my closet.

(9) Cleaned out, washed, dried, and re-stocked my gym bag...ouch.

That's the reason. If one is full of poo then one has enormous resources to produce humongous heaps of turd (and I'm not talking about trance tracks here).

High-speed camera. It has insane framerate which allows to create smooth slow-motion clips. It looks highly unnatural because it shows motion in much greater detail than is possible for human eye to observe in nature.

Shot at 1000 fps. It was a pretty bad example of coolness factor, today we blew up a dummy with an airbag from a car. Now that looked cool!

I'll try and take it home over the weekend and do something cooler. Maybe smash an apple with a hammer or something? I'm open to suggestions.

Hmmmmm...I know! Take that nifty camera to a high-class strip club and throw the girls some money. THAT would be a good clip.

Anyway now to my idea....
How about super-glueing a safty switch so that it won't be set off, then puting a coat-hanger in a light socket and then turning it on. That would make for some great slo-mo.
If you wanna go the jackass way, just get someone to hold that same hanger and you have priceless youtube snippit!
