factory reset for virus classic
 

ive been searching the threads and this question has popped up a few times
but the only answer i find is 'its in the manual somewhere'
ive got the manual and there is nothing about doing a factoy reset at all!

please can someone shed some light on this

Power OFF.

Hold down LFO Shape.

Power ON whilst still holding LFO Shape - don't let go until you see the 'Initialising...' message appear.

but now its not recognising any midi signal!

im transmitting on midi channel but 1 nothing is happening

any thoughts?

whats your setup look like?

im using a rme fireface 400 which is transmitting midi fine (my other synths recieve midi no problem)

setup on virus is:

midi dumo tx = single buff

midi dump rx = enable

midi global chan= 1

panel= int+midi

arpeggsend=off

clockrx= auto

midi volume =ena

progchange=ena

multiprogchg=dis

diviceID=1

lopage=contr

hipage=sysex

im tranmitting midi on channel one but still the virus does not seem to be picking it up (the little note sign does not appear)
