Some questions?!?!?

can i route seperate osc's to diffrent filters?
can i add my own waveforms?
can i layer sounds in the TI VSTi as in it has 16 layers?
how do i make it so i only want the sounds to be polyphonic(one not at a time)
what dose it mean by SLOT1 in the modulation matrix?
can i route fx to only one osc?

and......i think thats about it for now :)
Thanks.

Yes, in split mode Osc1 and SubOsc is sent to filter 1 and Osc 2 and noise is sendt to filter 2...

You can on the Virus in multi mode. Not sure about VSTi (i use a Virus C) but i don´t see why you shouldn´t be able to. Set 2 or more parts to use the same MIDI channel. That should do it...

Set keymode to poly on the patches you want to play polyphonic.

It means the first slot in the modulation matrix (MOD1). In the modulation matrix you can route control sources (like modwheel, breath, CC#, etc.) to synthesizer parameters (like filter cutoff, efx amount, filter decay, etc.). You have 6 slots in the modulation matrix. In every slot you can control up to 3 destination parameters with 1 control source (this is only true for the Virus TI, the older Virus´s have less destinations on the first 2 slots).
