note symbol
Hi all,
I noticed a note symbol sometimes appears on top right side of the display. What does it mean? Funny thing is, I seem to remember reading about it in the manual, but now can't find it anywhere... have a great day! Boris. |
Hi Boreg,
I think the note symbol in the display means that the Virus is receiving MIDI data. Do you have it connected to a sequencer? Anyone else? |
Yep, it's the MIDI.
I get it when importing/dumping patches to SoundDiver over MIDI, or when using my Trinity to control the Virus. Welcome to the forums, Boreg! |
Thanks guys!
Now that I know, it seems kinda obvious ))) |
I also noticed that in addition to a note symbol, which means MIDI note data, a "C" letter appears when Virus is receiving MIDI clock, and a special symbol (kind of a circle with a stick) appears when using the modulation wheel. Neat ))
