Creating drum sequencers in Cubase

Hi,

I'm about to become a new cubase user since I've recently purchased a Virus TI and want to use Cubase for production.

I've thought about moving to Fruity Loops and I may still do that but keen to learn cubase as well.

My question is how does one create drum sequencer patterns in Cubase with my own samples? Do I need a drum sequencer vst capable of importing wav files or what? I'm looking for something similar to the redrum in Reason or the pattern sequencer in Fruity - nice and easy to use.

I don't want to rewire Reason because of the load it seems to put on my system.

cheers
Reno

get hold of something like Battery by native instruments
good vsti sampler for drums

or just rewire reason anyway
(its not that much of a drain on my system, i'm runnin a 2.8ghz p4 with 1gb of ram)

or you can chuck individual drum samples on audio tracks, move em around
and eq/effect them

for really crap easy sketch drums
cubase sx has LM-7
really low processor drain, uneditable and sounds crap
but can be good for using like a metronome
