Creating drum sequencers in Cubase
Hi,
I'm about to become a new cubase user since I've recently purchased a Virus TI and want to use Cubase for production. I've thought about moving to Fruity Loops and I may still do that but keen to learn cubase as well. My question is how does one create drum sequencer patterns in Cubase with my own samples? Do I need a drum sequencer vst capable of importing wav files or what? I'm looking for something similar to the redrum in Reason or the pattern sequencer in Fruity - nice and easy to use. I don't want to rewire Reason because of the load it seems to put on my system. cheers Reno |
get hold of something like Battery by native instruments
good vsti sampler for drums or just rewire reason anyway (its not that much of a drain on my system, i'm runnin a 2.8ghz p4 with 1gb of ram) or you can chuck individual drum samples on audio tracks, move em around and eq/effect them for really crap easy sketch drums cubase sx has LM-7 really low processor drain, uneditable and sounds crap but can be good for using like a metronome |
