Virus A & Pro Tools 7 (on Mac)

Hi, does anyone know how to:

1. rename MIDI controllers in Pro Tools 7 so they match with the Virus A knobs ? (they dont even when I import the right patch)

2. reset Virus A (holding down down Shape LFO1 while restarting doesn't seem to erase all the A&B banks)

3. get rid of memory protection so i can save presets

thanks much, meanwhile am continuing to read the manual, so far i havent found the answers

I don´t think a factory reset is supposed to erase banks A & B. It should just resets all parameters to factory default. Anyway, why erase the banks A & B? Just overwrite the patches you don´t want with your own patches or dump some via MIDI from a soundset...

I have a Virus C so i can only guess it´s the same on a Virus A: In the system menu there´s parameter called "MemProtect" that can be set to "Off", "Warn" or "On". Make sure it´s set to "off" or "Warn" (when set to "Warn" it asks you if you are sure when you try to store something).
