soundiver sussed!
 

after many hours (and reboots) trying to get sounddiver to work
i think ive finally sussed it.............

on windows xp, right click on the soundiver.exe icon (not a shortcut however) and run it using windows 98 compatibility mode.

mine seems to be working fine now!

Mine has worked fine from day 1... running various incarnations of Mac OSX from 10.2 - 10.4.11

Glad to hear you got SoundDiver to work. It's a god-send for the Virus (A/B/C series), a great librarian and editor.

Is your version the bundled, or the full version of SD?

I had to use a full version, as the version that was bundled with my Indigo (v1) was incapable of working.

as i bought my virus classic second hand, it didnt come with any software
so i downloaded sounddiver from the website, i forget which version it was though
