Recording transpose key presses with virus TI

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any work arounds for recording transpose button presses with the TI, access says it cant be done, but surely there is a way? I love transposing halfway through a note, has a very nice sound on some patches :)

have a nice day

assign a softknob to transpose, and set according to required transpose, set knob setting to jump? or whatever lets you adjust and it wont change until you're finished.

Record the softknob ;)

champion, thanks.

actually, i even remember figuring this out myself ages ago now that you mention it, but i completely forgot.

the stepping (are you talking about paramater quantise?) might not work for me though as i want to be able to record cutoff/other stuff at the same time....and this technique only lets me transpose up 12st and down 12 st...(well, turn the knob hard right for an octave up/hard left for octave down) but it has the advantage of being able to turn the knob slowly for other effects.

cheers, have a nice day
