Using the TI as a softsynth MIDI controller

I have been trying to get my TI to control my softsynths for the past week with no luck, so if any of you know how to do it PLEEEEEASE give us a little tutorial as the manual doesnt do a great job.

this is how I tried

Select Patch/Utility on the virus control
add a instance of V-station
Select controller preset for eg. V-Station.

tried turning a knob nothing happend

so I saw Enable Midi - connected my MIDI cables to the TI,
enabled midi on the virus control
set the input of V-station to Virus TI MIDI and still nothing

so please if anyone has a small tutorial to offer, it will be much appreciated!!!! :)

In order to use the TI’s Remote functionality, you must first
switch it into Remote Mode. To do this, press SHIFT+CONFIG.
guess this should be the step which you missed ...

ED-ZACKERY :) I watched the Vid tutorial today which is when i figured it out,
Thank you for replying though!

One thing I cant seem to get right (which I dont think even possible) is writing automation for softsynths with a MIDI controller.

When I write enable the VSTi and move the knob on the midi controller, it moves on the VSTi but no automation is written. But when I select and move the knob with the mouse the automation is written

So basically its good for softsynth programing and live work but not writing automation?
