Virus Snow Multi Parts

For those who owned a Virus Snow!
How many multi part does the Snow have using viruscontrol (VST)? The same 4 parts or increase to 16 parts, like the others virus TI??

It's very important to me. It`ll make me decide between the TI desktop or Snow.

Thank you.

Its four parts.

This confuses me...

So I finally got my snow (boo ya!). Now what confuses me is that when it has one of the two DSP chips that the Desktop has and can do 10-50 voice poly why doesn't it have 8 parts instead of 4? There might be some math there in the background that makes it come down to 4, but I can't help wondering why only 4.

Has anyone from Access actually said why with half the power it only has 1/4 the parts. Maybe we can get 6 or 8 total in a future upgrade?

probably ... if one DSP can do 4 parts ... two will multiply their processing power and can do 16 (4 x 4) parts :)

it always depends what patches you load ... 16 parts at once is quite theoretical.

If you want to use your virus as VSTI, the desktop TI is not necessary because you have only 3 audio outputs usb, on the condition that to use audio outputs analogical.
The "Snow" was optimized to use these 4 parts at most, what to my opinion is not the case of the version " Destktop ", to have 16 parts for of it made play only " 4 real instruments " with all the capacities of the Virus ti, what interest?
I think that it is one of the reasons that decided on Access to create "Snow" with the advantages to have a Virus Ti nomad but with only 1 DSP

True, and the case when I thought I might need more is when doing up an analog drum kit or something (which would not take much power) then adding a bass part to it. In that case I think the snow could handle 6.

Anyways, thanks for the comments
