How to save midi as .wav- my file has no sound
Not real familiar with Logic pro, bounced files, saves as .wav, shows 11 megs but does not play.
Feeling more secure with my new ti desktop. What did I overlook? gary |
What software are you using for playback?
I had this problem with Cubase and playback with itunes. I found the mixdown saved was 24bit 48khz. iTunes can only play 16bit 48 khz. Hope this sheads some light |
save midi as wav ?
a midi file only contains notes, a proper "player" or synth reads these notes and reconverts the notes into sound by the internal sound engine. A wave file is "real" audio material ... so plz can you explain how did you convert your midi file into a wave ? |
Booyeaaaa. I met a fellow in Borders tonight who was hell bent on helping me set up the TI on the mac. He left the midi cables in but pulled the usb from the Virus.
I was then able to select input 3/4 and bam was able to record audio. |
edit, just reread your first post. Sounds like you were having problems triggering audio via the midi that was recorded in Logic?

Once I rebooted Logic, I was able to set the inputs, I couldn't before.
I bounced this track and I'm fond of rom-s 124 volesolo. However, I have no music/keyboard skills, but I'm happy. http://homepage.mac.com/nam65/.Music/logic/one.m4a http://homepage.mac.com/nam65/.Music/logic/one.mp3 |
