the scariest thing ever!
 

I was going to check out 24 bit depth and change my samplerate to 88 for the first time ever in cubase.... unforuntunatley i was blasted by this most intenseley ear busting, stomach churning, terrible static sound that was so loud, it gave me a good old fright i tell thee.. i had to tear off my headphones and quickly hit the reset button

im scared to try again now, as i dunno why this happend. im still using my x-fi card as i havnt got round to putting the 2496 back in yet, maybe its not compatible with 24 bit.. or im also using the virus in usb mode, which doesnt do above 44 samplerates? any clue?

You wont notice any difference anyway other than hugely increased CPU use, so leave it as is :)
