Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone has programmed some of the FM like twangy stabs found in tech trance these days.
Im at work but will post some clips later.

My understanding is that ur using an envelope to change the fm amount giving it more twang or piano like feel over time.

Think early sander van doorn/sam sharp, mac & mac, etc

I like that patch. Could you share the ingredients please?

aren't most of the virus presets basically that patch ?

2x slightly detuned saw or pulse waves , quick filter ADSR with low pass filter , sub oscilator , reverb, delay and low EQ

you can basically get that sound with a couple of knob twiddles from the init patch

IamEvil is pretty close.

2 hyper saws, detuned to taste.

adsr amp - 0, 30%, 0, 20%
adsr filter - 0, 40%, 0, 40%

filter 4 pole LP, set to 0.

chord played in C2 range :)
