Noise on Snow
Hi,
I have got a Snow connected to the inputs of a Triton Extreme. It produces so much noise when I turn it on. The Extreme is quiet alone but becomes noisy when I turn on the Snow. Any of you guys experienced this? What could be wrong? Thanks Regards |
If it's a mains type hum, could be a ground loop. Try dropping the ground connection from one of the devices (but be sure to put it back if you try to run the device on it's own!);)

Is it the Triton valve on high gain? Other thoguht is, are you using the official Access chinese brand of transformer, because other compatible transformers can put a whiney noise on the sound.

Thanks |
My only noise issue was a whine (about 1000Hz) when I used a high quality dc adapter. So I used the original PSU and the noise went away. But if you get it connecting to your X6, it sounds like the outputs are noisy on the Snow. Are you talking about hum, buzz or white noise?

a) What outputs you use?
b) Is the TI noisy even when you connect it directly to the PA/Mixer/etc? |
Hi all,
I contacted Access Support.Joerg told me to detach connections including power. Put back the PSU and press TAP TEMPO button. I then turned it on. The noise is GONE!!! Excellent support from Access. Got a response in less that 12 hours!! |

I use the analog outs which are connected to Triton Extreme's audio inputs which is hooked direct to speaker monitors. I tried connecting the TI directly to the monitors but got the same result. Anyway, I am happy and satisfied with my SNOW now. Thanks for all the attention given to my post. |
