I have never used midi before, though have had many pieces of gear that had the capability...

today i bought some midi cables and hooked up my akai xr20 with my virus kc tinkered around a bit, then before I knew it i was rocking my ass off...

Holy Shit it sounded so good and I was able to automate my beats and bass lines and tweak shit while sounds were automated and build and drop beats all live...

my mind is now blown and I need to figure out how to fully use the midi channels more...

my heart is pounding, I am like a kid in a candy store!!!

All kidding aside, I know exactly how you feel. I was also blown away when i first got midi running in my setup. It really does open up a whole new level of creativity.
