How to get the Ti working well with a lower Latency?

Hi
I was wondering if its possible to load Virus control in my sequencer purely to manage patches. Then use the analog outs (or digital outs) rather than the USB out for monitoring and recording audio. I have a soundcard that allows for no/ lo latency monitoring.

Virus Control is nice for editing/ remember which patches work with each song...but it definitely adds some lag to the whole setup, especially in a large, complex song.

Would the above method reduce latency?

Thanks
Royalston

Latency is the spawn of satan.

And how does one defeat Satan (or at least reduce his impact on my synth)....?

contact your local exorcist :p

or just create two project files, one with VC loaded, the other one without.
just not sure, if it would reduce latency, since VST has latency compensation.

hey Royalston, what are you using for your setup?
I am currently using my ti with the audio being bussed via usb and have very low < 6ms latency. I am using Ableton live and have my buffers set to 128 samples.
