Noise Color in Virus Ti

Hello guys

I had a virus KC a while back and recently got a TI keyboard.

..Damn if I can find 'noise color' as parameter! Where is it?

It's in the modulation destinations but for my life I can't find it anywhere else. In the C series it lived in the OSC edit menus I think.

Thanks a bunch!

Just to confirm, on my old Indigo it's in the Oscillator 2 section of the fascia, too. I press the Edit button and then scroll left/right with the parameter cursor buttons, and Noise Color is one of the options.

By the sound of it it has been moved on the TI?

Timo,

The OSC2 pages, yep that's what I recall from the KC. On the TI there's only oscilllator parameters on the OSC pages, no nuttin' about noise. I have looked in the filter pages, the pages common for the patch (where you find unison and patch volume etc)

I do hope that it's beena *moved* somewhere and is not *absent* save as a modulation destination. Any other TI users?

I'm bugged because I used to do sounds where I 'highpassed' the noise before passing it to the filters along with the oscillators..

...according to the TI manual page 124, it has it's own page in the OSC section, however COLOR only shows up when NOISE VOLUME is > 0.

Tsss. I'll see about that. I... I... no.. I would have noticed... 8o)
