Virus A sequenced by an Mc 808. Help req.

I'm trying to sequence my access virus A by a Roland Mc 808 without any result.
I can assign all the virus parts I want to the mc's parts, and I can record and reproduce.
the problem is when I try to record the virus knobs movement on the mc.
my setup is very simple and consist in the mighty mc and in my Virus A.
I think is abuot configuration of this two machines but I don't know how to set up them.
I own the english manual but I can't speak english well. I'm not anglophone. Someone can help me? I becoming mad with configuration.

No more problems!
I've done by setting the Mc 808 in Storage mode, not in Midi mode.
Writing this to help someone with this kind of problems.
