problem with virus-c on mac
 

he works fine

but now that i've changed from windows to macstuff

installing the sounddiver doesn't work on mac

its says the program stopped abruptly restart

when u click on restart

the same message's pops up

i have many homemade patches that i would like to use but most of em R safed in midi when i used to work with my pc

is there a way i can upload em back to my virus-c

anyone who can help me out

i do know how to use it on a windows pc

but on mac i just can't install it so it works ...????

sounddiver received its last update back in the days when apple took over emagic. as far as i can recall, this was the days of Mac OS 10.2. - running sounddiver on 10.4/10.5 is close to gambling, i'd be surprised if would really work reliably.

an entire bank is no problem. just use a sequencer and send the midi file to the virus - single sounds, well that a different beast. afaik there is a couple of shareware/professional virus bank managers which you might want to try out.
