Power Supply Virus ti Desktop
G'day guys,
Just picked up a virus ti desktop from a local pawn shop in Australia, unfortunately no power supply. Therefore because i'm getting all giddy just looking at the damn thing and can't be f*$ked importing the official power supply, i was wondering if anyone could read the back of theirs and list all the specs. It seems access were a tad vague on the issue, in the manual and unit itself for good reason no doubt. But f@$k it! i just want to get stuck in.:twisted::twisted: Cheers! |
For anyone with a TI who may be able to help, Australia uses 230v. (Not sure if the TI uses a universal power supply?)

Hell, you can't even find a Virus at the Dayton Guitar Center. The most exotic thing I've ever seen there is a Radias. It's not like I live in the middle of nowhere. I'm right in between Cincinnati and Columbus. I just don't understand why NOBODY in this area is into electronic music. |
Hi,
I bought my virus desktop in the usa. Here is what my power supply says: PUT POWERTECH, INC. P/N PPS25A2-13A (RH) AC ADAPTOR MODEL: AD2512A INPUT: 100-240V ~1.0A 47-63Hz OUTPUT: 10.0-13.5V 2.5A 25Wmax Hope this helps! |

I used a compatible power supply and found there was a continuous high pitched whine from the audio outputs. Not all PSUs are the same ...
