Key Follow Base
I'm not sure I understand what this parameter actually does...
Is it like a pitch offset for the keytracking? If I want the filter cutoff to just follow the note I am playing, should I leave it at C2, and have the key follow at +63? The manual can be kind of vague about what exactly a parameter is doing... thanks! |
It is the "zero point" of the keyfollow param modulation. Notes above this pitch will cause a positive value to be added to the parameter, notes below it will cause a negative value to be added to the parameter, in proportion to how far they are from zero point. So, setting this to the lowest pitch possible causes the parameter to be modulated 'upward' over the whole kb range.
