Input processing becomes mono in Multi mode
Hi all,
I have a strange problem with my Virus TI (desktop, OS 2.7.3). Here's what happens: - I send a stereo signal to Virus' inputs. - In Single mode, I select an input processing preset (with Atomizer=on or Input mode=static). The input signal comes through in all its' stereo glory. - I switch to Multi mode, select the same preset - the input becomes mono! I've double and triple checked all settings related to input, output, pan, surround etc. What's even stranger, I definitely remember atomizer working properly in Multi mode, and can't figure out what has changed. Previously, I did have problems when (accidentally) having more than one Atomizer preset in a Multi - the user manual specifically warns about this. But this time I made sure that no other part is doing any kind of input processing. One time during my testing, the summed-to-mono input signal kept coming through even after I switched back to Single mode and selected a non-input preset ("Input thru" in Config was 0). Restarting the Virus fixed this, but the mono problem remains. Hoping for any help (especially yours, Marc! ;) Boris. |
