Moving patches from Classic to Snow

Hi guys,

As I mentioned in my other post I am planning to get myself a Snow in the near future.

I currently have a Classic (which has served me well) and I'd like to take the patches from banks A and B with me. Can anyone advise on the best way to do this?

I had been using Sounddiver when I was a Windows user, but I've since moved to Mac (10.4.11). I downloaded the "bundle" Sounddiver for Mac but it's not finding my MIDI ports and doesn't seem to be a valid option.

If I was to do a sys-ex dump into a sequencer (Logic or Live) would I be able to re-use that dump with the Snow/Virus Control software?

I'm open to other suggestions also!

(PS: Apologies if this is in the wrong sub-forum - I didn't rate it as "Trouble" as much as "advice"!)

Cheers,

Maurice

So I managed to get Sounddiver working (briefly) by simplifying my Audio MIDI Setup - I had my MIDI ports "hooked up" to instruments, so I guess they were no longer options for Sounddiver to use. I managed to get most of my patches saved off.

So can anyone answer this question - is the content of this library viable for importing into the Virus Control plugin of the TI Snow (which has been dispatched - woohoo!)

Cheers people,

Maurice
