OS3 USB bug
I'm getting lots of communication errors with the new OS. Install went fine and the OS has updated and at first it played fine but now but when I load the control the USB icon doesn't come on in the Ti display panel and it still plays the patch loaded in the hardware rather than the Control. I have tried the Control centre and it says to attach the Ti to my computer but it is attached. Firmware is def OS3 on the Ti. There is no problem with the USB connection as far as I can see - I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and that went fine but the Control centre still reports no device is attached.

Just tried removing and reinstalling the whole thing but it still can't find it despite the fact that the installer had no problem doing so. Maybe I need to do some sort of reset of the firmware but I don't know how (just the arp edit type soft reset)

OK I think I fixed it by unplugging the power and then doing a reset. Crap - it's recognising the device again but the Control is still playing the hardware patch and ignoring what I load from the browser and the sound is not being processed through the USB (and therefore my host), just going to my analog outs - communication is clearly screwy with this release

for me it was jst a matter of turning it off & rebooting cubase with it turned on again. then it worked. took a few attempts. cant wait for the full release.

Help with Virus routing USB and/or analogue outs..
Im new to virus but can agree with you.
When in Cubase 4.5 I have no issues with VirusContrik syncing and changing patches but I do have issues with USB multi outs. USB 1l+R work finr but any subs will not sound or set up as a seperate channel strip in the mixer...bummer Can someone help, I can not get outs to work on analogue except 1 or 2... Basic needed on how to assign routing :) Thanks PS is it possible to use VIrus spdif for external effects in cubase 4.5 as send/returns for outbaord routing? Thanks again |
