OS 3 and part volume

Hi guys,

Do any of you OS 3 users have Virus TI Control not responding to part volume when draging the little sliders on the left? Is it a beta issue maybe?

Or is it just me? ;-)

My TI is responding. But I have a different issue with part volume since the update to OS3. The set volume of a part in a certain project doesn't seem to be recognized at first. It probably is at the default volume of 100, no matter where the slider is after loading. When I change the volume a bit the channel gets to the right volume immediately. This is in Cubase 4.5

Same problem here. Also the master volume knob is not working.

Yes - I've got the same problem with part volumes. Is there some way to feed
this back to Access, or will they notice it here?

There are various bits of the VC GUI which aren't working. EQ and distortion not working are the first 2 I came across.

I can change values OK on the Virus' panel, but changing them via VC doesn't work.

In my case there are no problems with the GUI. The issue is that OS3 not recognizes the part volume settings made with CB 4.5 when starting the project again.

Yes i have the same :(

I have emailed ACCESS tech support. I think they know about it now.

OS3 is a beta version and its important we get feedback to them as soon as posseible so that they can relase the final version of OS3 ASAP.

Love the new GUI. Much better. Better layout. Less fiddly. Wonderful.

I have the Korg M50 VST editor and that is awful compared to ACCESS's.

Has anybody had a date from them when they plan to release the final version?

OS3 seems more stable. Glad they are putting the registry change option during the installation for laptops that disables the power saving in USB ports. I had forgot about it! Its just one of those microsoft things that are sitting way behind in the registry that mucks up everything. And leaves us feeling microsoft are out of touch.

:)

i think i'm experiancing this. sometimes the project's parts sound really loud and annoying.. also like some of them have to much reverb although that may just be because the part is louder. How do i go about reverting to an older virus OS and software?
