Ah god... buying more gear... someone hold my hand!
My cursor is poised over the Buy button for a Blue Dragonfly.
Should I..? :O It will be used for my electronic/industrial/metal band to record female vocals, single drum hits (making my own drum samples from now on, yup), various powertools, engines, trains pulling out of stations, and other cool things that make cool noises, and also metal-style shredding guitar. Preamps are Mackie Onyx from their 400f audio interface. It's a good price.. Can someone please tell me to stop being a pussy and just buy it please. Or alternatively, tell me I'm making a horrible mistake and suggest something else. kthx. -Annikk |
Hahah, I know the feeling too. I've been buying so much gear in the past couple of months. My girlfriend's almost about to kill me :p
But, thats it... the Blofeld's gonna be my last investment for a while...hmm but I do want a Nord  As for you, go ahead with it, more the gear the merrier we are. ________ spice weed |

I always get so nervous before buying something expensive like this. What if it turns out to be rubbish? Or just totally not suited to my purposes? Or it breaks straight away or arrives broken, and the company abandon me?
Eeeeeeeeeeppp... -Annikk |
'Money won't spend itself' is what I always say - so it follows that *you* have to spend it.
Also I reckon the quantum of regret produced by not getting something your musical little heart desires usually exceeds the regret risked by getting something that turns out to be a pup .. .don't have the hard data to prove that, though! ;) |
Decided to put off actually making the purchase until Monday. I'm such a total pussy. I make myself sick. :P
