virus b power supply
 

I'd need a second power supply for my virus b desktop. Could somebody give me any suggestion of what to buy? I know the specs, but I'd like to know of any "trustable" manufacturer / brand...
According to the local music store, official access distributor doesn't sell them original anymore :(.

I've used a generic power supply from Maplin (UK electronics store) with no problem for several years. To select it, I just read the power specs on my Classic, and made sure to buy something that suited. I ended up buying a variable voltage model, with numerous connection tips that supplied enough current. I believe I got all the info I needed from the Classic itself - there should be a diagram by the connection point indicating voltage, current and the tip configuration. I imagine the B is the same.

thanks for confirming. I'm just fearing to blow up my baby if I don't use original supply...

Now that I'm at home I just checked my Classic, and while the machine itself states 12V, tip-positive, it was the power supply that states it's DC output is 12V, 1A. It should have all the details you need.
