Opening Virus TI Plugin
 

Hey everyone. Has anyone tried opening a song in your DAW that was originally using the Virus TI Snow plugin but upgraded their Snow to a Desktop or Keyboard version? Does this work?

My friend and I are collaborating on tracks but I'll be using a Polar and he'll have a Snow eventually My next question is can he open up my tracks if I limit my Virus to 4 tracks? I'm not sure it will because there are two seperate plugins installed for the TI OS(One regular and one snow version). I just want to know basically if we can open each others projects. We're using Cubase 4.
