So which OS is the most stable?
In the "Trouble.." forum there are lots of people reporting problems with the beta of OS3, and still others reporting pops and clicks during multitimbral performances and so on, even on older OS's.
Which OS do you guys think is the most stable, and suffers from these problems the least? Currently running 2.7.5, if there is a previous more stable version than this, what features would I lose by downgrading to it? -Annikk |
running 2.7.5 here.
rock solid. |
I realised I'm actually running 2.7.3
How does 2.7.5 compare in terms of stability ? Gonna go read the patch notes now.. -Annikk |
don't really recall any major issues with 2.7.3, but 2.7.5 is definitely extremely stable. I am holding off on 3.0 until I finish up a song I am currently working on.

We most often only get posts from the complainers or those with a genuinely unsucessful experience with every version, beta or not. Don't guage any release from the posts here. 2.7 beta had lots of obvious problems, I don't think 3.0 is like that at all. Its your virus, make your own mind up.

LivePsy. Your joke about TI OS2 being a hoax will only get funnier as more versions are released... I like posthumous humor most of all.

Yes, it helps my credibility at lot :)

sorry for the offtopic but how do you downgrade? Ive installed os3 and want to go back to 2.7.5 so I downloaded 2.7.5 from access music and installed it, all went ok, then I opened Virus control centre and went to the OS UPDATER tab and pressed START UPDATE, everything went fine, but when I tried to open VC plugin it said that the firmware version mismatches the one of the plugin...
Any help please? thanks |
